約3週間前に研究室にいた同期や後輩とともに、三四郎池で水中ドローンが動くかどうか試してみました。初めて使うということもあり、組立や操縦など慣れないところもありましたが、なんとか最終的に対岸まで動かすことができ、ある程度は操縦できるようになりました。
最終的には、取り組んでいる修論のデータ収集で使えるくらいにまでなれば良いなと思っていますが、どこまでできるかは未知数ですので、これからも研究を進めながら、水中ドローンも効果的に使えるように頑張っていきたいと思います。
About three weeks ago, I tried to see if the underwater drone would work at Sanshiro Pond with lab members. Since it was our first time using the drone, we were unfamiliar with its assembly and operation, but we managed to move it to the opposite shore in the end and were able to operate it to some extent.
I hope to eventually be able to use it to collect data for my master’s thesis.
