地域/情報研究室

2/5,6に卒業論文最終審査が行われました．
地域/情報研からはB4の井野，上野，中尾の3名が発表と質疑を行い，審査の結果，3人とも無事合格となりました！
また，上野と中尾は優れた学業成績であったものに対する賞であるヘンリー・ダイアー賞を，加えて上野は優れた卒業論文に対する賞である田辺朔郎賞をいただきました！

卒論に向けた研究や論文執筆，発表に際し，研究室の先生方，先輩方をはじめ，多くの方々の貴重なご指導とご協力をいただきました．この場を借りて感謝申し上げます．

卒業論文としては一区切りとなりますが，適度に息抜きをしつつ，今後も論文の内容の修正などを行っていきたいと思います．

発表した論文の題目は以下の通りです．

井野「マルチモーダル地理空間データのクロスモーダル対照学習を用いた土地利用推定」
上野「土地白書に基づく地籍調査の進捗率に対する統計分析」
中尾「モバイルデバイスLiDARのセンサー特性を考慮した点群高精細化手法」

On February 5th & 6th, the final review of graduate thesis was conducted. Three B4 members in this lab presented their research, and all of them successfully passed the examination!
Additionally, Ueno and Nakao won the Henry Dyer Award, for those who achieved outstanding academic results, and Ueno also won the Tanabe Sakuro Award for an outstanding graduation thesis!

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the professors and senior students in this lab, as well as to the many others who provided precious guidance and cooperation for our research.

Below are the titles of our research:

Ino “Land-use estimation using cross-modal contrastive learning with multimodal geospatial data”
Ueno “Statistical Analysis for The Progress Rate of Cadastral Survey in Japan Based on White Paper on Land”
Nakao “Point Cloud Enhancement Method Considering Sensor Characteristics of Mobile Device LiDAR”

1月26日から28日にかけて修士論文最終審査が実施されました。地域/情報研究室からは下田と嶋野が発表し、2人とも合格となりました！
また、嶋野は古市公威賞に選んでいただきました。

修士課程での2年間、先生方、研究室の皆様、そして同期や先輩方にも助けられ、無事に完遂することができました。心より感謝申し上げます。
今後、それぞれが就職、進学と自分の道を歩いていくことになりますが、これまでの経験を糧に励んでいきたいと思います。

発表した論文題目とコメントは以下の通りです。

下田：異分解能画像を統合した半教師あり学習による土地被覆セグメンテーション
「修論発表にあたり、これまでに開催された研究室ゼミにて、布施先生をはじめ、学生からも研究に関するさまざまな質問やご指摘をいただけたおかげで、無事に修論発表を終えることができたと思います。私が興味を持って取り組んできた研究に対して、熱意を持って発表できたことが、聴衆の先生方のご清聴を通して痛感いたしました。
本研究、ならびに研究発表は多くの皆様の温かいご支援とご協力によって成し遂げることができたこと、重ねて御礼申し上げ感謝いたします。」

嶋野：浅水域における光学特性を考慮した水中写真測量
「研究室の皆様にはこれまで多くの支援をいただき感謝申し上げます。上手くいかない時期もありましたが、その度に助けられました。発表では、普段接しない多くの先生方から質問や意見を頂戴し、励みになるとともに、今後の研究活動に対する意欲をより高めることができました。博士課程へと進学し、まだお世話になりますがどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。」

The final master’s thesis examinations were held from January 26 to 28. Shimoda-kun and I from Regional Planning and Information Laboratory presented our work, and both successfully passed the examination. In addition, I was selected to receive the Furuichi Award.

Over the two years of master’s program, we were able to complete our studies thanks to the support and guidance of our sensei, the members of our laboratory, as well as our peers and senior students. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of them.

As we now move forward on our respective paths, whether into employment or further study, we hope to continue striving ahead by building on the experiences we have gained.

Shimoda “Land Cover Segmentation by Semi-Supervised Learning with Multi-Resolution Images”
Shimano “Underwater Photogrammetry Incorporating Optical Properties in Shallow Waters”

12/23(火)は研究室の忘年会でした！
現役メンバーに加え、地情研OBOGの方々にもお越しいただき、にぎやかな会になりました。

さまざまな分野で活躍されている先輩方の近況や、企業での技術開発のことなど、いろいろなお話をお聞きすることができてとても楽しかったです。

We were also joined by alumni from the lab.

クリスマスが近づいてきました。それに合わせて、学生でクリスマスツリーに飾り付けを行いました。飾り付けを終えたクリスマスツリーは、他の飾りと一緒に学生部屋の前に設置し、年末らしさが出てきました。
それとともに、卒論・修論ともにあと1ヶ月程度と迫ってきていることも実感させられます。これからの1ヶ月間はこれまでの何倍も忙しくなる気がしていますが、研究室一同みんなで力を合わせて頑張って進めていきたいと思います！

As Christmas approaches, the students decorated a Christmas tree! After finishing the decorations, the Christmas tree was placed om front of the student room along with other decorations.
At the same time, it also reminds us that there is only about one month left until the submission deadlines for both undergraduate and master’s theses. The coming month is expected to be much busier than ever, but we would like to work together as a laboratory and do our best to move forward.

12/19(金)に，研究室ゼミを行いました．今回は学部4年2名が進捗を発表し，質疑を受けました．

質疑では先生方や先輩方から背景・目的と手法の一貫性から手法についての細部についてまで，様々な観点から貴重なご意見，ご指摘をしていただきました．我々学部4年生にとっては初めての本格的な研究ということもあり，1人で研究を進めているとどうしても視野狭窄に陥りがちな中で，新たな視座を得る貴重な機会となりました！

論文提出まで1ヶ月ほどとなり，研究を進めていくとともに論文執筆にも取り掛かる必要がある時期になってきました．時間的な制約もありますが，その中で質の高い論文となるよう最大限努力していきたいと思います！

On December 19th (Fri), Lab seminar was held. In this seminar, two undergraduate students shared their progress of their research.

After their presentation, teachers and seniors gave precious comments on various viewpoints from the consistency between the purpose and the method to the details of the method. This seminar made us broaden our horizon!

We have to make progress of our research and write thesis at the same time since the deadline for the thesis is only about one month away, but we will do our best to make our research better!
