12/5に第7回学生ゼミが開催されました.
発表者はB4の中尾くんとM2の嶋野さんでした.
B4の中尾くんからは「モバイルデバイスLiDARによる3次元点群データの⾼精細化とタスク性能評価」と題して,現在の学習状況,使用データ,未観測領域の扱い方などの説明がありました.
拡散モデルでの誤差の扱い方や,復元のした点の評価について議論が行われました.
今後は日本のデータでの学習やipadによるデータ取得を進めていくとのことです.
M2の嶋野さんからは「浅水域における特徴点非依存な三次元復元手法構築」と題して,濁りやCausticsへの新しい対応手法や,Mast3rの組み込みについて説明がありました.最終的なアウトプットの検討や,Dust3rの性能についての意見交換が行われました.今後はモデル改良や実水槽での実験に進むとのことです.
Aセメスターの学生ゼミは今回で終了となり,今年も年末の研究室ゼミを残すのみとなりました.卒論,修論の提出に向けて研究室一丸となって取り組んで参ります.
On December 5th, the 7th Student Seminar was held. The presenters were Nakao-kun, a 4th-year undergraduate student, and Shimano-san, a 2nd-year master’s student.
Nakao-kun, a 4th-year undergraduate, gave a presentation titled “High-Resolution Enhancement of 3D Point Cloud Data by Mobile Device LiDAR and Task Performance Evaluation,” explaining his current learning progress, the data being used, and how unobserved regions are handled. Discussion took place regarding how to handle errors in diffusion models and the evaluation of reconstructed points. He mentioned that moving forward, he will proceed with learning on Japanese data and data acquisition using an iPad.
Shimano-san, a 2nd-year master’s student, presented on “Construction of Feature-Point-Independent 3D Reconstruction Method in Shallow Water Areas,” explaining new approaches to handling turbidity and caustics, as well as the incorporation of Mast3r. Discussions were held regarding considerations for the final output and opinions were exchanged about the performance of Dust3r. She mentioned that she will proceed with model improvements and experiments in actual water tanks going forward.
This session marked the end of the student seminars for the A semester, leaving only the year-end laboratory seminar for this year. The entire laboratory will work together as one toward the submission of undergraduate and master’s theses.
