12/5に第6回学生ゼミが開催されました。
発表者はB4の上野くんとM2の下田くんでした。
B4の上野くんからは「地籍調査に対する土地白書と整備データに基づく進捗率への影響分析」と題して、影響要因となる各種変数のデータ整備と影響分析の基となるモデルについての説明がありました。
影響分析のための変数をデータセットとして作成する長かった工程がやっと終わり、これからの分析の進化が楽しみです。
M2の下田くんからは「異分解能画像を統合した地図更新手法の開発」と題して、空中写真と衛星画像を組み合わせた地物抽出のための手法開発についての進捗報告がありました。これまでのモデルと少し異なる条件で実施したために、上手くいっていないとのことで改善するにはどうしたら良いのかについて議論がありました。特に、ピクセル数を小さくするのに、空中写真の解像度を落とすのか、分割するのかについて様々な意見がありました。
来週は嶋野とB4の井野くん・中尾くんから発表があります。今後も頑張って進めていこうと思います！
12月になり、季節変化とともに体調を崩すこともあるかと思いますので、みんなで気を付けて過ごしましょう！
The 6th Student Seminar was held on December 5. The presenters were Ueno-kun (B4) and Shimoda-kun (M2).
Ueno-kun delivered a presentation titled “An Influence Analysis for the Progress Rate of Cadastral Survey in Japan based on an Analysis of White Paper for Land and Progress Rate Data.”
He explained the data preparation process for various variables that serve as influencing factors, as well as the modeling framework used for the analysis. After a long effort spent constructing the dataset for these explanatory variables, this stage has finally been completed, and we look forward to seeing how the analysis will evolve from here.
Shimoda-kun presented his work titled “Propose a Map Update
Model Integrating Multi-Resolution Images,” reporting on his progress in developing techniques for feature extraction by combining aerial photographs and satellite imagery.
Since the latest experiments were conducted under conditions slightly different from those used in previous models, the results did not perform as expected. This led to a discussion on how to improve the methodology. In particular, several opinions were exchanged regarding whether pixel reduction should be achieved by lowering the resolution of aerial photographs or by partitioning them into smaller tiles.
