10月から続いていた岡村杯が今日終了しました！！

予選Aブロックを1位通過し、決勝ステージに進出した交通チーム（交通研・地情研・景観研合同チーム）！
準決勝の相手は地盤チームでした。見事、16-3で圧勝し、決勝戦へと進みました。
本日、行われた決勝戦の相手は予選でも戦った橋梁・コンクリートチームでした！予選では橋梁・コンクリートチーム相手に勝利を収めましたが、本日の結果は以下の通りとなりました！！

終盤は安田先生・中尾先生も合流し、追い上げましたが、敗戦となってしまいました…
今年の岡村杯は準優勝となりました！
コンクリート・橋梁チームの皆さん、おめでとうございます！

The Okamura Cup, which had been running since October, ended today!

The Transportation Team (a joint team of the Transportation Lab, the Regional Planning and information Lab and the Landscape Lab) passed the block in first place and advanced to the final stage! Their semi-final opponents were the Geotechnical Engineering Lab, and we won the semi-final match. Then, we advanced to the final match. Today’s final match was against the Bridge and Concrete Team! Today’s results were as follows!

Today, we lost the game…
We were runners-up in this year’s Okamura Cup!

11/8(金)に第2回学生ゼミが開催されました。

今回のゼミでは、M2の小林さん、B4の笹木くん、武田くんから研究内容の紹介と現時点での進捗についての発表がありました。それぞれの研究手法に関して理解を深めるとともに、自分自身も一層研究活動を頑張っていこうと思いました。次回のゼミは来週金曜日に開催されます。

The second student seminar was held on Friday, November 8th.
In this seminar, Kobayashi-san (M2), Sasaki-san (B4), and Takeda-san (B4) presented their research topics and their progress to date. It was a valuable opportunity to deepen our understanding of each research method, and it motivated me to work even harder on my research activities. The next seminar will be held next Friday.

今年も岡村杯の季節がやって来ました！地域/情報研究室は交通チームとして、主に交通研と景観研との合同チームで対戦しています。
予選Aブロックは、交通チーム、学部3年生チーム、橋梁・コンクリートチームの3チームで構成され、総当たりで争いました。
交通チームは2試合ともに勝利したため、予選を1位で通過することになりました！どちらの試合もM1の下田君が先発し、好投しました。下田君は攻撃の間にもピッチング練習を行い、準備に余念がなかったです。次回以降も期待しています！
試合結果は以下の通りです。

第1試合 (10/18) ：交通 8-7 B3
第2試合 (10/29) ：交通 9-4 橋梁・コンクリート

次回は11/6（水）に地盤チームと準決勝戦です。ついに、強豪揃うBブロックのチームとの対戦ですが、勝てるように頑張ります！！

The Okamura Cup kicked off this year! The Regional Planning and Information Lab is competing as the Transportation Team, a joint team with the Transportation Lab and the Landscape Lab. The preliminary A block consisted of three teams: the Transportaion Team, B3 Team, and the Bridge & Concrete Team, and they competed in a round-robin tournament. The Transportaion Team won both of their matches, and thus qualified in first place! In both games, Shimoda-kun, M1 student, pitched well. We look forward to seeing him again next time! The results of the games are as follows.

Match 1 (10/18): Transportation 8-7 B3
Match 2 (10/29): Transportation 9-4 Bridge & Concrete

Next game will be a semifinal game against a Geotechnical Engineering Team on 11/6. We will do our best to win!

10/29(火)に、Aセメスター最初の学生ゼミを開催しました。学位論文の執筆スケジュールの説明や、執筆に必要となる編集ツールであるTeXの説明を受け、今後の流れについてイメージを持つことが出来ました。また、今後の進捗報告発表スケジュールも決まったので、気持ちを新たに頑張っていきます！！！

On Tue. Oct 29, we held the first student seminar in A semester. After the instruction on the schedule and TeX, the editing tool, for the dissertation, I could obtain the image for how the graduation research proceeds afterwards. Also, as the schedule for the presentation was fixed, I am going to refresh my mind and work hard!!!

わたくしB4の大野の研究で使用するデータの収集に行ってきました！布施先生はじめ、研究室の皆さんに手伝っていただきました。

土地境界の点群データと写真のデータの収集をスマホで行ったのですが、現在のスマホのアプリできれいな3次元点群のデータが得られて、技術の進歩にみんなで驚きました。

I went to collect data for my research with the help of Professor Fuse and the lab members. We collected point clouds data and photographs of land boundaries using a smartphone, and everyone was amazed at how the current smartphone apps can generate such clean 3D point cloud data, showing how much technology has advanced.
